Memorial Objective Photograph #1  This Confederate Monument was erected in 1909 at Oakwood Cemetery, Tyler, Texas.  Mollie Moore Davis 217 placed the statue in honor of the over 200 unknown Confederate soldiers and other veterans buried there.  A memorial service is held at its base each April.
