Pictured are all the recipients of awards and medals at the 2008 Jefferson Davis BBQ.  (Pictured left to right starting in the back)  2nd Lt. Col. Retired Barbara Vogl received the Viet Nam Conflict National Defense Medal.  Mrs. June Elliott received the World War II Cross of Military Service Award and Korean War National Defense Medal that was presented posthumously to her husband, Alpheus L. Elliott, for his US Army service.  Mr. DM Edwards was awarded the Stonewall Jackson Medal for his various outstanding contributions and dedication to our chapter.  Pictured is Past President Maxine Herbst.  Caleb and Cole Goodson (pictured in front) received Jefferson Davis Historical Silver Medals for their participation in several living histories, reenactments, and memorials.
